Setting :- border of Riverclan and Thunderclan.
The clouds have covered the sun lit sky, making it dull. it's drizzeing slightly.

"Uh Moonstar..." Dapplenose said as she approached the leaders den, "It is time for the dawn patrol.
"I will go myself today, since there has been evidence of some ~~STUPID~~ dogs on our territory. Dapplenose, can you take care of a second patrol? By the ShadowClan border?"
"Sure thing Moonstar!" she said.

Moonstar patrolled by herself to make sure she was alone so she could have a private meeting with Purestar, leader of RiverClan. She wanted to finally tell her that they were siblings, well, if she didn't find out herself. Moonstar hoped Spottedbelly would be there too because she was the third sibling.
Her lithe, smooth, creamy pelt glided through the tall undergrowth as fast as a cheetah. She could scent so many things: rabbits, mice, squirrels, fruit, and the worst smell; ~~JAKE~~ dog silent

. She paused to investigate a tree that a dog had marked it's territory on, "Ughh! That smells horrible!" she mumbled to herself.

After a few minutes, she had finally approached the RiverClan border, but no one was in sight so she patiently waited in a tree, hoping another patrol wouldn't scent her.

Before long, it started to drizzle rain. But at least Moonstar had the shelter of an oak tree. She heard voices off in the distance, coming from RiverClan's side of the border. She could only see Spottedbelly, Stoneheart, and Sandclaw. She really wanted to meet with Spottedbelly, but there was no way with the other two around. She let them pass, not making a sound.
She had to have been out for hours now, and she heard a ThunderClan patrol, probably searching for her.
'MOONSTAR! MOONSTAR!' yelled Leopardtail. Finally they passed, since her scent was covered by the rain.

Her body weaved through the tall grass and oak. Her dark markings moved evenly with the rythem of her muscles, her light brown paws were torn but moved quickly underneith her. Which let her sleek body move swiftly. The blood from her pads tracked behind her, giving way to her clan wich way she was headed.
'Don't do this Purestar! Please don't do this to yourself...' Sweetdreams's voice rang in her ears. Her eyes clouded and dull, turning to even solid slits. Her vision began to blur and her nerves began to numb. Though she was determined to reach the river. Every rock she bumped into felt like nothing to her. Her eyes now dialated. She misplaced her paw, falling from a high rock. As she landed all her nerves came back to feeling. She sent out a shirll cry. Pain vibrating in her body.

Moonstar finally saw Purestar fumbling over the river like she was badly wounded. She checked the area for any other scents then dashed over to help Purestar.
'Are you ok?' she asked?

Purestar's eyes slowly turned to see Moonstar, relief filled inside her. 'Yes...' she hesitated slightly. 'Moonstar what is this all about, my clan has probably already sent a serching patrol for me.' she asked softly.
'especially with all the JAKES dogs around.' she hissed.

'Well it is surely important. Let's get some shelter first, from all the rain of course.' she said with a caring tone of voice. They sheltered in the same lily bushes nearby, thorny but safe. 'Before I tell you, I have to tend to the wound on your leg.'

Before Moonstar was a warrior, she spent much time in the medicine cat's den with Rainwish, so she knew the basic herbs and berries.

Purestar nodded and whinced at the pain her leg brought her. She sniffed the air and ~~screwed up her face~~ wrinkled her noise at the taste. ~~'UHHH JAKE AND JORDAN NEED TO TAKE A BATH MORE OFTEN DAWGGG!'~~'Uh. All I smell is dog now. What has become of it?' she asked softly.

Moonstar used Lavender to cure her fever, and poppy seeds to calm her. The the nasty scent of dog overwhelmed the small area. 'I definetely scent dog, should we shelter in a tree instead?' she asked, hoping it wasn't real.

Purestar nodded wearily, getting to her shaky legs. 'You know your herbs well.' she said with a glimer of hope in her eyes.

When she spotted an up rooted tree she lay down underneith it. Her paws ached.

Grief clawed at Moonstar's heart to see Purestar in such a weary state. Even though Purestar wasn't even close to dieing, she could scent death nearby. 'Purestar, I feel something isn't right here, can you hop on top of that rock and get into that oak tree? I will come right after you.' she asked. Fear and grief tingled in her paws.

Purestar's heart ached. She could scent trouble approaching. 'Moonstar whats going on.' she asked, her eyes now wide with panic as dog scent filled her lungs.

Purestar's eyes widend with fear. 'No! Please! Go first. Your like a sister to me!' she squeeked. Her fur bristled with tension.
'prey prey' Purestar heard off in the distance. 'Moon hurry!' she cried out. Tears filling her eyes. She felt the ground tremble, the pebbled on the earth vibrated softly.
'There coming!' she yowled.

Before either of them had time to scramble up the oak, three enormous black shapes broke through the thorn barrier and grabbed Purestar by the scruff. Moonstar launched at the filthy creature with her claws sheathed. She seemed to be twice as powerful, as if StarClan were fighting with her.
