Jadestream made her way through pretty ferns and huge bushes to the place where her mother died, near the border of RiverClan and ThunderClan. She came almost every day to mourn her loss.
'Mother... I wish you were here.' she mumbled.

I waded in the water of the river that separated RiverClan and ThunderClan territory. The dull thrum and thrash of the wakes as they hit each other soothed me. I had gone out on my own when I was sure my Clan was in peace back at camp. I always liked to go out into the forest or to the river and spend my nights alone. It helped me clear my mind.

Thistlewing laughed as she spotted Blackwing eyeing a measly frog. "Food fit for a warrior, eh?" She had been out hunting on her own when she spotted the black she-cat underneath the pine tree.

She lashed her tail and turned to face Thistlewing. "I'm going back to camp now,"
Blackwing growled; expecting for Thistlewing to follow her.

She stretched and ran up ahead of Blackwing. "I can't just go back to camp without prey. Neither should you. Lets be productive here!" Thistlewing turned sharply and ran off into the forest to look for prey.
